The Fountain

I bet you thought it couldn’t get any better than my Scavenger Hunting in Piccadilly Circus right? Wrong! How about in front of the fountain in Trafalgar Square with the National Gallery and the Olympic Clock in the background for a total Scavenger hunt win!?

The funny thing about these pictures is, that by the time we got to Trafalgar Square it was dusk and because it is a much bigger open space it felt like there were fewer people nearby, or maybe it was our earlier success in Piccadilly Circus that made me so brave, but I hopped up onto the edge of the fountain and happily went about posing for the camera. We only managed a few shots, luckily these little gems were amongst them, because the next thing I know one the street wardens was wagging his finger at me and telling me to stop. To give him his due he didn’t get pissy but instead went and had a huddled chat with his warden mates. I have no idea why they all kept turning round to look at me though! Maybe they secretly wanted me to ignore him and carry on…

Ps… Make sure you check out who else is being Wanton this week or click the Scavenger Hunt badge to see the full list of challenges and players. I declare I am the first person to have achieved fountain!

Thank you very much. I must admit I am rather proud of these and the Piccadilly Circus ones too.

Well – you certainly gave those street wardens something to talk about. I bet it made their day :). So – it was dusk and therefore a question did you use flash as well as flash ?:)

Nope, not a clue! A couple of woman did walk past and grin at me…but it was the warden who ended the whole adventure.
