I know it has only been a week since I launched this new feature but I have already decided to tweak the idea ever-so-slightly. As I have continued on my travels around the internet I have stumbled across blog after blog that has caught my eye but once I get reading I am finding picking just ONE post from a blog rather tricky and last week’s Kiss recipient is no exception. This week alone she has published a series of great posts, I think my favourite being Who Is This Man?

So I have decided that from now on my Kiss will go to the blog as a whole. There will be no Kiss of the month instead at the end of the year this list will make up my top bloggers for 2011 awards therefore essentially turning it into an annual extended blog roll. Blogs that get awarded the kiss will still be emailed the Kiss Button for them to display on their blog.

Last week’s kiss is therefore awarded to the blog Defer and Submit which is written by The Girl for her insightful writing of her exploration of her submission and her relationship with The Boy. She writes with honesty, humour and intelligence to deliver a mixture of thoughts and erotica that are in my opinion a pleasure to read.

Now to this week’s blog of the week, and I really hope you are paying attention now as this was the blog that really changed my mind about how the kiss was going to work, because if I didn’t award it to the blog as a whole I realised that she was in with a chance of getting awarded it every week as I highlighted post after amazing post.

The Big Ugly is the work of Lauralyn and is based around her self-portraits that she takes using a “cheap cam on a 10 second timer” but let me assure you this blog far from ugly and far from cheap, it is packed to the rafters with amazing, inspiring, sexy, funny, interesting, weird, wonderful and wacky pictures of this woman. She is a striking beauty of a woman, with dark hair, slim yet toned body and quite frankly breasts to die for. Her photography is exceptional and when I stumbled across it, it made the self-portrait whore in me want to grab my camera and get snapping away, yet her blog is about so much more than just that. Please do take the time to read some of the post and not just stare at the pictures like I did at first. I think one of my favourites is “The Big Pig That Couldn’t”, her commentary brings the pictures alive and make sure you read the about page too, as this will allow Lauralyn to explain her blog to you far better than I can.
